In 2013 Cantarelli SAS implemented Intesi Factory ERP as its Manufacturing ERP to address growing demand for clearer delivery times and real time order status. The deployment targeted the company core business of third party turning and milling and was driven by the need to provide customers with reliable progress updates and processing status across small lot and prototype work.
The Intesi Factory ERP deployment emphasized production monitoring and company planning capabilities, combined with the e-Roi data collection APP for mobile shop floor capture. Intesi Factory ERP was configured to monitor production workflows and planning horizons, while e-Roi provided real time data entry from mobile devices on the workshop floor, enabling up to date visibility into job progress and resource utilization.
Operational coverage included the workshop shop floor, the technical office and the company warehouse, with the system used to manage production jobs for materials such as stainless steel, aluminum alloys, cast iron and plastics. Integrations were limited to the Intesi Factory ERP platform and the e-Roi mobile data collection APP, with mobile devices deployed in the workshop to feed live status and allow the technical office to respond remotely to customer inquiries.
Governance and process changes were pragmatic and role focused, driven by leadership recognition of scaling constraints and executed to standardize order tracking, status reporting and customer communications. Outcomes stated by Cantarelli SAS include a marked improvement in quality of work, the ability to monitor job status at any time, faster remote responses to customers and the capacity to send images and files without causing machine downtime.
