Yooz Inc. Legacy Yooz AP Automation AP Automation ERP Financial Management n/a 2022 2022
In 2022, Caran d'Ache implemented Yooz AP Automation to digitize supplier invoices and centralize accounts payable processing. The rollout targeted the company finance function in Geneva and was positioned within the AP Automation category to address invoice capture and workflow inefficiencies while improving the financial information system. The Yooz AP Automation deployment focused on invoice digitalization, OCR extraction and data validation, automated routing and approval workflows, and invoice archival for auditability. Configuration work was coordinated by a SAP finance functional consultant, and the implementation was aligned to existing SAP finance capabilities so digitized invoices could be validated and posted into the company financial system. The project was executed as an in-progress supplier invoice digitization initiative with governance led by the finance team, including revised approval workflows and document standards to integrate with downstream accounting processes. The implementation ran in parallel with a Yokoy travel expense management rollout, with operational scope confined to finance and accounts payable activities at the Geneva site and hybrid work model participants.

Afineo Legacy Afineo DAM Digital Asset Management Content Management n/a 2021 2021
In 2021, Caran d'Ache implemented Afineo DAM as a combined PIM and DAM initiative. Afineo DAM serves as the company's central product and media repository, established at Caran d'Ache's Swiss headquarters to ensure consistent brand and product information across global sales channels. The implementation consolidated product master data management and digital asset management capabilities, including metadata schemas, asset variants, and workflow engines for content enrichment, approval, and publication. Afineo DAM was configured to manage high fidelity imagery, specification sheets, and localized product copy to support omnichannel listings and consistent product presentation. Operational coverage spans product management, marketing, eCommerce, and sales teams, with repository workflows designed to feed product information and media into global sales channels. Integration points and automated distribution workflows were defined to enable channel publication while maintaining centralized version control and metadata governance. Governance was organized around role based access controls, content approval gates, and taxonomy governance to standardize product attributes and media tagging. Afineo was selected in 2021 to provide a central product and media repository and workflows to improve content quality and the omnichannel product experience.
