In 2020 Cardinal Financial implemented Stripe Payments on its website to handle customer-facing online transactions. Stripe Payments provides Payment Processing capabilities including hosted checkout, card authorization and capture, tokenization, and webhook event delivery to support online payment workflows. The deployment centers on web based payment acceptance embedded into the public site.
Architecturally the setup combines client side payment elements embedded in web pages with server side API endpoints and webhook handlers to process events and reconcile payments with back office records. Operational scope is the public website and the payments and billing function, supporting card based payments for customer accounts. Governance practices likely focus on API key management, role based access controls for payments operations, and tokenization patterns that reduce PCI compliance surface while centralizing payment processing through Stripe Payments.

In 2021, Cardinal Financial implemented Botsplash on its public website. Cardinal Financial deployed Botsplash as a Chatbots and Conversational AI solution to provide web-based customer engagement, automated question handling, and lead capture across digital channels.
The implementation is delivered as a web-embedded conversational widget running on the Botsplash cloud platform, configured with intent-driven conversation flows, FAQ modules, form-based information capture, and agent escalation rules. Configuration work concentrated on conversation scripting, slot collection for basic lead qualification, and session handoff logic to route complex inquiries to human channels, reflecting standard Chatbots and Conversational AI functional workflows.
Operational ownership is centered on digital channels and customer service teams, who manage conversational content, escalation policies, and governance for the website deployment. Deployment scope is limited to the corporate website, positioning Botsplash to act as a first touch interface for customer service and online lead capture, and Cardinal Financial uses Botsplash as a Chatbots and Conversational AI application to support those business functions.

In 2019, Cardinal Financial implemented Oracle Analytics Cloud for Analytics and BI to establish a cloud based data warehouse and business intelligence capability for its mortgage financial operations. The engagement was a ground up implementation that centralized business intelligence, integration, and data warehouse solutions across AWS and Oracle cloud environments, led by an agile, fully remote team of six cloud data warehouse engineers.
The deployment combined Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse with MS SQL Server based data stores to support reporting and analytics, and included a full BI security configuration in Oracle Analytics Cloud with Multi-factor authentication, role based security, and row level security filtering for personalized datasets. Data models were rationalized into fact and dimension designs and implemented as column store tables to optimize query performance, enabling all reports to process in sub second response times.
Integrations were implemented using Data Migration Services to produce a near real time operational data store that feeds both an operational data store and the enterprise data warehouse with latency under five minutes. Additional integrations connected more than 15 source systems via web services and FTP, with ETL orchestration using Python and Pentaho jobs, and file archival to AWS S3 and Google Drive according to source requirements. The architecture leveraged AWS services including S3, RDS, EC2, and CloudWatch alongside Oracle cloud services.
Governance and delivery practices were instituted from initial development through production, with dev, uat, and production environments provisioned, full migration documentation created, and source control versioning implemented in Git. The team adopted two week sprint cadences for releases, daily stand ups for remote team coordination, and operational tooling including Asana and Freshdesk to manage work and support flows.
Explicit outcomes from the implementation included sub second report processing performance, a near real time operational data store with under five minute latency, and a hardened Oracle Analytics Cloud security posture with multi factor authentication and row based data filtering.
