In 2012, Carey Group Plc implemented Sage Snowdrops HR as its Core HR application. The deployment centralized employee master data management for the company's approximately 1,000 employees across its United Kingdom construction and real estate operations.
The Sage Snowdrops HR implementation focused on configuring core HR modules including employee records, organisational structure and position management, absence and leave tracking, and HR reporting. Configuration emphasized data model standardization, record validation rules, and role based access controls to support consistent personnel data and operational HR workflows.
Operational ownership rested with HR and payroll functions, which used Sage Snowdrops HR to update and maintain records, drive workforce administration, and produce operational HR reporting. The implementation established repeatable processes for data updates, approval workflows, and scheduled data maintenance to keep employee information current.
Governance measures were put in place to define data stewardship responsibilities, preserve audit trails for record changes, and enforce procedural controls for onboarding and leavers management. Ongoing activity focused on implementing, updating and managing data on the Snowdrop system to ensure accuracy across HR processes and internal compliance.

In 2017 Carey Group Plc implemented COINS ERP as its Construction ERP platform. The 2017 programme concentrated on 11 Procure-To-Pay process improvement projects led from Wembley, with a Programme Data Lead providing leadership and oversight for all Data and Technical activity.
Implementation included establishing Master Data Management and Governance, extensive data cleansing, and application environment management within COINS ERP. A bespoke Data Warehouse was defined and implemented to enable analysis of core COINS ERP data and to support operational reporting across procurement and finance functions.
The programme published integration formats with external vendors and managed the specification of associated back-office COINS ERP development to enable structured vendor data exchange. Operational coverage was group wide and cross functional, focusing on supplier master records, purchase ledger accounts, and Procure-To-Pay workflows.
Governance was formalised through a Group wide ERP Environment and Change Management structure that included promotion paths, release management and change management processes, and a cross functional Master Data Management and Governance framework. Explicit delivery outcomes included a 93% reduction in the backlog of historic open purchase orders from over 500m to 33k, a 49% reduction in the Supplier Database, and a 43% reduction in Purchase Ledger accounts through cleansing of inactive records in COINS ERP.
