In 2016 Cdiscount implemented Kofax ReadSoft Online as part of an AP Automation initiative to digitize supplier invoice intake for its accounting operations. Cdiscount provisioned Kofax ReadSoft Online to centralize invoice capture and structured data extraction, supporting invoice registration and payment workflows used by the accounting team.
Configuration work emphasized invoice capture with OCR-led data extraction, and the creation and management of multi-step invoice validation workflows for overhead supplier invoices. The implementation also aligned with expense management controls and configuration of Cleemy and Lucca for expense report validation and payments.
The ReadSoft deployment was part of a broader dematerialized invoice entry program between 2016 and 2018 and later aligned with an SAP S4 ERP project from 2018 to 2021, and it intersected with an input assistance robot implemented using UiPath. Operational scope focused on accounting functions at the Bordeaux office, including user training for business and accounting users and support for monthly closing activities.
Governance included workflow ownership by accounting officers, iterative configuration of validation rules, and training-driven rollout to business and accounting users. Cdiscount Kofax ReadSoft Online AP Automation therefore covers invoice intake, automated validation workflows, expense controls, and integration touchpoints with ERP and RPA components.

In 2021, Cdiscount implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation as the compensation module within a broader SAP SuccessFactors-based HRIS modernization to improve HR performance and support sustained double digit growth. The initiative positioned SAP SuccessFactors Compensation at the core of a Compensation Management strategy that ran alongside Employee Central, Performance & Goals and Recruiting to centralize salary review, bonuses and career interview campaigns for France's leading e-commerce retailer.
The implementation delivered a modular configuration using SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central for core HR, SAP SuccessFactors Compensation for structured salary review and bonus calculation, and SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goals to manage appraisal campaigns and calibration workflows. Configuration focused on supporting large internal mobility flows, centralized employee records, structured salary review cycles, and user friendly interfaces for managers and the Management Committee to access HR data and conduct team management tasks.
Integration architecture was built around a Boomi integration layer, establishing a unique repository for updating inputs and outputs across third party systems. The Boomi layer orchestrated integrations to Active Directory account provisioning, badge management, expense report feeds, time management, recruitment and training workflows, and payroll systems, enabling single source updates for entry and exit events and reducing duplicated data entry. Arago Consulting served as the implementation integrator, bringing SuccessFactors functional, project and business expertise and supporting cloud native deployment practices and post go live continuity.
Governance and process changes accompanied the technical rollout, with redesigned HRIS governance to share HR information with managers and the Management Committee and to operationalize career interview management and salary review campaigns. Explicit outcomes reported by the project included accelerated HR processes through automation, a substantial reduction in data double entry, enhanced accessibility for managers and employees, improved HR efficiency, an elevated internal company image and increased manager commitment.
