| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2010 | 2011 |
In 2010, CDO Foodsphere implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its core ERP Financial platform for corporate finance, procurement, manufacturing and retail processes across its Philippines operations. The deployment established SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as the authoritative ERP Financial system supporting transactional finance and operational planning for the business.
The implementation covered standard SAP modules including FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, and HCM, with configuration focused on integrated finance to supply chain flows and HR payroll support. CDO Foodsphere retained an internal Development team to customize the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 footprint, applying waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies and formal SDLC practices to manage enhancements and localized business rules.
Operational architecture was supported by an SAP BASIS function that installed and administered multi¬layer SAP landscapes, and later executed an upgrade path from ECC6 to EhP8 while migrating the database from MS SQL to SAP HANA 2.0. Infrastructure workstreams included network security and disaster recovery builds to maintain continuity for manufacturing and retail systems and to support the SAP landscape.
IT governance was formalized through a service management team applying ITIL best practices to incident, change and release management, aligning SAP operations with business stakeholders in manufacturing and retail. The program documentation records a successful migration and continued operational efficiency, and infrastructure measures aimed at minimizing risks and ensuring compliance.
