In 2017, CDP Worldwide deployed Softworks HR Management to centralize Core HR functions and support the Global HR and People Development Director. The implementation was positioned to manage employee relations cases including maternity and paternity, absence management, performance management, recruitment campaign planning support, payroll processing and pension administration across the organization.
Softworks HR Management was configured to support discrete functional workflows for absence tracking, performance case handling, recruitment process design, monthly payroll runs and pension scheme administration. The project included procurement activities, process design, system configuration, testing and global deployment, with the system owner responsible for the full system life cycle.
Operational coverage extended across HR, People Development and line managers globally, with the platform used to coordinate consultation meetings and to execute restructures and HR change programmes. The implementation supported administrative and governance activities such as developing and implementing new HR policies and delivering HR workshops to managers and staff.
Governance of Softworks HR Management emphasized case management workflows and policy enforcement, with the HR lead maintaining responsibility for configuration changes, testing cycles and deployment sequencing.
