In 2019 Central Electric Power Cooperative implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as its ERP Financial system to support project-driven material planning and financial control. The rollout exposed Master Planning as a central planning capability within Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, with IT-led testing led by the IT Network and Application Manager focused on project item requirement demand visibility.
Testing centered on the Master Planning module and its Records to include filtering mechanism. The team attempted to restrict a planning run to item requirements for a single project by adding a join to the Project item requirements table in the Records to include filter, however that specific filter configuration returned no results. As a control the team executed Master Planning without the Records to include filter, and the planning run did generate demand created by the item requirements for the target project, demonstrating that project-driven demand exists but the filtering path did not surface it.
Operationally this implementation ties Project item requirements to Master Planning and implicates Project Management and inventory planning workflows within the ERP Financial deployment. The issue under investigation points to configuration or parameterization of Records to include filters in Master Planning, and current governance for troubleshooting and configuration testing rests with the IT Network and Application Manager and planning stakeholders in the cooperative.

The deployment aligns with the Audio Video and Web Conferencing category and leverages Webex Meetings capabilities such as browser and desktop joining, video conferencing, audio bridging, screen sharing, and meeting scheduling to support real-time collaboration.
