In 2020, CentralSquare Technologies implemented Coupa Invoice from Coupa Software as its AP Automation solution. The deployment targeted accounts payable and billing functions, formally introducing Coupa Invoice to manage invoice intake, three way matching aligned workflows, and electronic approval routing across the finance and billing organization.
Configuration work emphasized invoice capture and validation, PO matching rules, approval workflow orchestration, and AP reporting. The implementation incorporated controls around vendor documentation verification, general ledger coding accuracy, accruals for unprocessed invoices, and month end trade account reconciliations to align operational processing with existing audit and compliance requirements.
Operational coverage included the Accounts Payable and Billing teams, and extended to company wide billing projects and cross functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Rollout activities included staff training, development of KPI dashboards and recurring reporting for senior management, and process improvement initiatives driven by AP leadership to standardize invoice processing and enforce approval and authorization controls.

In 2016, CentralSquare Technologies implemented Oracle Netsuite OpenAir as its Professional Services Automation platform. The deployment replaced Changepoint SA and centralized project delivery functions including project management, time capture and resource scheduling for professional services operations.
Oracle Netsuite OpenAir was configured to support project management and tracking, time and expense management, and resource management, with the Business Applications team providing system administration, configuration and ongoing support. Configuration work aligned project financial attributes and billing-related data with finance workflows and established consistent project and resource master data for operational use.
Integrations were built using Scribe, Dell Boomi, Celigo and SQL Server Integration Services to migrate data and synchronize records across NetSuite, Salesforce and Oracle Netsuite OpenAir, and to populate an internal Data Warehouse. The internal Data Warehouse and BI stack including Qlikview, Tableau and Power BI was instrumented to consume OpenAir project, time and resource data for reporting, dashboards and analytic consumption.
Operational scope included finance, sales and the centralized Business Applications team, with direct collaboration between Business Applications and finance for forecasting, budgeting, monthly financial results and headcount reporting. Governance focused on structured requirements gathering, report creation, data model design and ongoing maintenance to ensure consistency and accuracy across project, financial and resource workflows.
