In 2011 Cerberus Capital Management implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP to centralize finance and human resources transactions as part of an ERP Financial initiative. The Oracle PeopleSoft ERP deployment was framed within a broader IT program supporting a US based global private equity firm that manages multi billion dollar investments and required enterprise grade availability and controls.
The implementation included PeopleSoft Financials and PeopleSoft Human Resource Management modules configured for entitlement based access, secure authentication, logging and encryption controls. The program leveraged virtualization and private cloud computing patterns, including VMware based server virtualization, VDI and Citrix technologies, and a high availability active active data center build out to support continuous trading and finance operations.
Integrations were implemented with an Oracle database and an enterprise infrastructure monitoring stack, using BindView and BMC Enterprise Software for database and systems monitoring. The PeopleSoft environment operated alongside existing network and security infrastructure including Cisco, F5 and Foundry network hardware, Checkpoint firewalls, EMC and Hitachi SAN arrays, and a heterogeneous server estate of Windows, Linux and SUN platforms, and was supported by XML Gateway and Web Application Firewall controls with application security testing using WebInspect, AppScan and Burp.
Governance and process changes accompanied the technical rollout, with strengthened policies, control owner alignment, quality assurance reviews and entitlement design to meet regulatory demands. Disaster recovery and operational resilience were formalized through hypervisor based replication between two active sites and a sandboxed production environment for development and user acceptance testing, while security practices emphasized identity management, secure data transfer and secure storage requirements.
The implementation was executed within a capital budget framework and operational mandate that included a $12 million capital budget for infrastructure programs and a $700000 enterprise content and email management program to meet SEC 17a 4 requirements. Executives reported cost savings from cross unit collaboration, improved data accessibility for business intelligence and strengthened mobile and application security posture as explicit outcomes of the program.

In 2012 Cerberus Capital Management deployed ADP Workforce Now as its Core HR application. The ADP Workforce Now implementation centralized HRIS and payroll reporting workflows and served as the primary HR platform for systems management and reporting across HR and IT reporting functions. Reporting processes drew on data from the firm’s ADP PayForce HRIS system and the IT data warehouse SAP Business Objects to satisfy senior management and investor-facing requests.
Functional scope emphasized HR data management, payroll integration and consolidated HR reporting, with configuration to support organizational chart generation and compliance reporting. Operational ownership combined HR and IT responsibilities, using ADP Workforce Now alongside extracted datasets in SAP Business Objects to produce standardized outputs, delivered as advanced Excel and PowerPoint reports for senior management. Governance centered on a single reporting pipeline from ADP PayForce and the data warehouse into controlled reporting artifacts and compliance workflows.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP Concur Travel | Travel Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020 Cerberus Capital Management implemented SAP Concur Travel for Travel Management to centralize employee travel and expense workflows within its Accounts Payable operations. The deployment targeted the Accounts Payable department in New York, where a manager oversaw a team of five and used SAP Concur Travel to manage T&E reimbursements and expense submission controls.
The implementation used standard Travel Management capabilities, including expense reporting, T&E reimbursement flows, and integrated audit gating. SAP Concur Travel was paired with automated expense review functionality through AppZen to support policy enforcement and pre-payment audit checks, aligning travel expense workflows with existing AP approval routes and reimbursement processing.
SAP Concur Travel was connected into Cerberus operational tooling, including the firm s Data Warehouse Management tool, internal reporting tools, Tymetrix, Basware and Great Plains, to support weekly check run processing and consolidated financial reporting. These integrations positioned SAP Concur Travel as the front-end source for employee expense data, which flowed into downstream AP and reporting systems used to execute payments and maintain ledger records.
Governance was exercised through Accounts Payable oversight, with the AP manager handling vendor and internal inquiries, allocations to legal matters, and reconciliation activities that involved SAP Concur Travel outputs. Configuration and rollout emphasized expense policy enforcement, centralized T&E reimbursement handling, and alignment of Concur workflows with existing AP check run and reporting processes.
