The implementation targeted core financial management and related IT operations, aligning the Oracle PeopleSoft ERP deployment with the hospital system's ERP Financial priorities. The deployment included PeopleSoft Cloud Manager and PeopleSoft Update Manager as part of the application lifecycle configuration, and a tailored training program covering PeopleSoft Deployment on OCI, PeopleSoft Cloud Manager, PeopleSoft Update Manager and OCI Security Hardening. SpearMC delivered on site training and built a library of PeopleSoft Test Framework automated test scripts to standardize application testing across environments and to validate migrations during mock cutovers. Architecturally the project moved PeopleSoft to Oracle IaaS and PaaS services on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, with SpearMC technical architects supporting Oracle experts on OCI security hardening and cloud adoption best practices. The delivery emphasized repeatable migration workflows, environment parity for testing, and scripted validation to reduce cutover risk and ensure consistent configuration across development, test and production environments. Governance and operational change included advisory guidance to CHW management on cloud infrastructure architecture and the creation of testing and deployment artifacts to institutionalize migration procedures. The outcome reported by the project includes saved time, lowered total cost of ownership and reduced risk, and a stated shift in IT posture from a cost center to a value provider.

Integrations were a central element of the implementation, with explicit integration work for Symplr API based automated time and staff scheduling, including orchestration of interface files and support for TimeCall, Open Shift Broadcast and EIS Devices. The integration effort leveraged existing PeopleSoft HRMS technical expertise to inform data mapping and interface design for payroll and benefits interoperability between Workday HCM and upstream scheduling systems. Governance and operational ownership were formalized under a Workday Integrations Lead and a product lead Senior Systems Analyst Specialist, who assumed responsibility for technical leadership, security administration, interface management and ongoing system upgrades. The implementation emphasized integration governance, interface change control and security administration to sustain HR, benefits, payroll and staffing operations across the organization.

Governance activities included updating training materials and performing new hire training for the registration and scheduling team, embedding procedural changes into daily scheduling and intake workflows while maintaining consistent use of EPIC EHR.
