In 2017, Chongqing Changan implemented the Knowledge Fusion Analysis System from Beijing Baifendian Technology Group on its public website. The Knowledge Fusion Analysis System is categorized as Analytics and BI and was provisioned as a web-facing analytics and knowledge management layer to surface structured insights from site content.
Deployment emphasized modular capabilities typical for Analytics and BI, including semantic indexing, knowledge fusion, real-time data ingestion, dashboarding, and queryable knowledge stores. Configuration concentrated on content extraction pipelines and analytics dashboards to support web content governance and user behavior analysis. The system was configured to run inference and serve aggregated visualization and search results via the site interface.
Integration points were oriented to web content repositories and site telemetry streams, enabling the Knowledge Fusion Analysis System to ingest HTML content, metadata, and event feeds. The implementation exposed APIs and front-end widgets that embedded analytic results and semantic search into Chongqing Changan web pages. Operational coverage focused on the corporate website and digital engagement touchpoints, supporting marketing and customer engagement functions.
Governance practices aligned to web operations instituted data stewardship, content tagging standards, and scheduled indexing workflows to maintain semantic relevance. | ChainMaker | Legacy | ChainMaker | Blockchain Platform | Blockchain | n/a | 2022 | 2022 |
In 2022 Chongqing Changan deployed ChainMaker as a Blockchain Platform to enable a paperless waybill application for Changan Minsheng Logistics vehicle logistics. The rollout targeted full-process digitization of order to delivery workflows across vehicle logistics, engaging carriers, drivers, dealers, logistics operations and upstream and downstream manufacturing partners within the Changan ecosystem.
The implementation of ChainMaker included a permissioned alliance chain architecture with separated smart contract design, the logic contract and data contract separated to allow independent upgrades. The solution stored original data off-chain with encrypted hash values on-chain, used elliptic curve encryption for private data, and implemented a multi-party encryption mechanism for private key recovery, while privacy computing capabilities enabled secure scenario-based data exchanges and double-blind reconciliation of settlement data.
Operational components included a terminal paperless delivery system with front-end and back-end separation, a Spring Boot backend and Vue front-end, and identity authentication based on enterprise WeChat to validate signer legitimacy. Electronic waybill generation and query were implemented as on-chain anchored artifacts, and vehicle collection data was fed back to logistics companies, manufacturing partners and the blockchain platform to maintain record consistency. Bank nodes were introduced into the alliance chain to make on-chain operating facts available to financial institutions, enabling accounts receivable supply chain finance services.
Governance was enforced through a permission system contract assigning role-based accounts and fine-grained interface permissions to each node, alongside process reengineering to achieve full-process collaboration from order through delivery. The deployment centralized reconciliation workflow via one-click online reconciliation replacing multi-step offline reconciliation, and the separation of contract logic supported modular upgradeability together with tightened data privacy controls.
Post-deployment performance reporting indicated the initiative connected more than 500 companies within the Changan Ford industry chain with plans to extend to over 1,000 related companies across the Changan Automobile system. Explicitly reported outcomes include an annual reduction of approximately RMB 5 million in document related consumables and verification costs, a shortening of the settlement cycle by 30 days enabling weekly reconciliation and settlement, and a reduction of about RMB 10 in shipping cost per vehicle with a reported 10 percent improvement in end-to-end shipping efficiency.
