The Access Group Legacy Access Attache Accounts ERP Financial ERP n/a 2010 2010
In 2010 Christians Bus Company implemented Access Attache Accounts to centralize core accounting processes, adopting the application as its ERP Financial solution for bookkeeping, payroll and statutory reporting. The deployment placed Access Attache Accounts at the center of the company finance function, operated primarily by the Office Administrator and Bookkeeper and supporting routine customer service finance interactions. Configuration and functional coverage focused on debtor, creditor, general ledger and payroll master data management, reconciliations of key accounts including bank and loans, and standard month end and year end procedures. The implementation supported generation of end of month journals, preparation of Quarterly Business Activity Statements, budgets and financial statements, and produced the required journals and reports used for internal forecasting and annual budget cycles. Operationally the Access Attache Accounts environment was used to manage and analyze MYKI data for compliance reporting required by the Department of Transport, giving users the ability to access, relate and report transport fare data alongside financial records. The implementation included creation of macros for sequencing and data transformation, and administration of integration activities and system project components, with involvement across requirement analysis, system design, specification, development, testing and implementation phases. Governance and process responsibilities remained tightly coupled to the application, with month end, BAS lodgement and reconciliations embedded as controlled workflows within Access Attache Accounts. The role-based usage model and documented procedures anchored accounting controls, while the bookkeeping team maintained data integrity for statutory reporting and grant compliance within the ERP Financial environment.
