Operational coverage for the combined BS&A Online and Kronos efforts encompassed municipal HR operations for the City of Alachua, covering municipal departments such as utilities and public safety, with workforce administration and payroll processing coordinated across those functions. Governance changes included formalized compensation plan maintenance and a process requiring presentations to and adoption by City Commission for final approval of pay ranges and position changes. The project owner also developed and implemented an Electric Training Plan that documents training and pay progression for nonexempt Electric utility positions, an initiative that the City reported resulted in increased employee engagement and retention, and received a commendation for revising the Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual and associated local ordinances to ensure regulatory compliance.
