In 2008, City of Lockhart, TX implemented Tyler Incode Fixed Assets. Tyler Incode Fixed Assets functions as the Enterprise Asset Management application within the city’s Incode suite from Tyler Technologies, establishing a centralized municipal fixed asset register for accounting and stewardship. The deployment configured core Enterprise Asset Management capabilities including asset identification and tagging, capitalization and depreciation scheduling, asset classification by type and location, and audit-ready reporting. Configuration emphasized municipal accounting workflows for capital assets and automated general ledger posting to support capitalization and depreciation control. Tyler Incode Fixed Assets operates alongside Incode modules that run the city’s financials, personnel management, utilities, court, and building permits, enabling transactional linkages between asset records and financial and utility workflows. Operational coverage includes finance, utilities, human resources, public works, and capital projects management across city departments. In 2021 the City of Lockhart migrated to the latest version of Tyler Technologies Incode software, a move the city reported would enable web access to utility customer accounts, online personnel management for employees, and improved monitoring of fixed assets and capital projects. The city also engaged external auditors BrooksWatson LLP and received a clean audit opinion for FY 2019-2020, actions that align with strengthened governance and financial reporting practices for asset accounting.
