The Microsoft Viva rollout was integrated with the university's Dynamics 365 CRM implementation to align recruitment and communications workflows and to surface CRM-driven content into intranet channels. Operational coverage included the Executive Leadership team, the marketing, student recruitment and admissions functions, and broader university staff and student communities across the United Kingdom and global student audiences.
Governance and program management were led by the Executive Director of Marketing, Recruitment and Communications as part of a suite of university-wide projects that also included Dynamics 365 CRM and a new brand strategy. The Viva intranet was delivered as a cross-functional initiative tied into the university strategic planning work, with oversight from executive sponsors and coordination across communications, recruitment and admissions teams.
