In 2025 CIVIL SRL in the Dominican Republic implemented the Alegra Management System to digitalize billing, enable multi-currency project accounting and apply project-level cost control across its finance and project accounting processes. The Alegra Management System deployment occurred during April and May 2025 and focused on operationalizing electronic invoicing to the DGII and improving month end visibility for project costs. The implementation addressed finance and project accounting workflows inside the Apps Category and targeted billing, accounts receivable and project cost monitoring activities.
Configuration emphasized the electronic invoicing module, multi-currency accounting capabilities and cost center tagging at the project level. The electronic invoicing capability was configured to generate DGII-compliant invoices and transmit tax documents according to Dominican Republic e-invoicing requirements. Multi-currency project accounting was configured to record project transactions in local and foreign currencies with project-level cost control rules applied to expense postings and billing runs.
Rollout and governance covered finance and project accounting teams in the Dominican Republic, with process changes to billing, invoice issuance and project cost reporting. Operational scope was limited to company financial operations and project accounting, with the Alegra Management System serving as the system of record for invoicing and project cost visibility. The implementation delivered clearer financial visibility and enabled electronic invoicing to the DGII as stated in the case details.
