Maximizer Software Legacy Maximizer CRM CRM CRM n/a 2024 2024
In 2024, Clayton Controls implemented Maximizer CRM as its primary CRM to centralize customer interactions, quoting, and sales pipeline activities across its distribution and manufacturing business. The implementation targeted sales, applications engineering, and manufacturing planning to set a foundation for collaboration and to strengthen vendor relationships through a single CRM platform. Maximizer CRM was configured with industry-focused capabilities, including opportunity management, quoting visibility, sales forecasting, and user defined fields to capture target account potential and project details. Applications engineers use the CRM to log project notes and call recordings, sales reps track pipeline activities and quotes, and reporting and business intelligence capabilities were extended to show conversion paths from lead to closed order. The deployment included a native integration with Epicor Prophet 21, providing bi-directional visibility into quotes, order history, SKUs, and inventory used in quote composition and forecasting. That integration enables sales teams to create quotes that reflect exact products in P21, filter pipeline and historical data by vendor or product to support manufacturer planning, and view closed quotes in CRM to maintain full interaction history. Governance and adoption measures were implemented to drive usage, including KPIs tied to CRM activity and a commission uplift for meeting CRM usage targets, coupled with manager review of recorded interactions for coaching. Reported outcomes include improved sales performance, easier and more accurate forecasting, expanded vendor relationships through better visibility into activity and returns, and improved coordination between sales and manufacturing to prepare for demand. Clayton Controls plans to expand reporting to further demonstrate lead generation and conversion rates to vendors and internal stakeholders.
