Integrations were tested and exercised with Clearway Energy SAP processes to ensure posting of invoice and AP ledger entries, and with third party payment vendors to coordinate disbursement runs. Treasury interactions and banking controls were included in the scope, with Positive Pay and ACH returns processes incorporated into operational handoffs between Coupa Invoice and payment execution channels.
Governance and rollout included development of training guides and departmental procedures for SAP related processes, designation of subject matter experts for banking and payment controls, and participation by AP staff on the Coupa integration testing team. Operational ownership remained with Accounts Payable and Treasury, with procedures and testing used to drive adoption and control alignment.
