The HR application was integrated with Colorland’s other Odoo modules to align workforce data with retail operations, enabling headcount and scheduling alignment with POS driven sales patterns and inventory handling requirements. The scope covered corporate HR functions and operational HR for retail and e-commerce teams, ensuring employee records and time tracking were available to support store rostering and cross channel fulfillment staffing.
Tecfuge served as the Odoo implementing partner and Odoo Customer Success Manager Dimitri Saad provided adoption oversight, focusing on data migration, configuration, end user training and a staged rollout across stores and corporate offices. Governance instituted centralized HR process ownership and role level approvals inside Odoo HR to standardize workflows and maintain auditability for people operations.

In 2025, ColorLand Toys deployed Odoo Point Of Sale as part of a coordinated implementation of Odoo modules across its retail and warehouse footprint in the United Arab Emirates. The rollout encompassed Point Of Sale, Inventory, Sales, Purchase, and HR modules and provisioned 28 named Odoo users to support operations across 17 retail locations and central warehouses for a 120 employee retailer.
The implementation centralized inventory as the operational core, configuring Odoo Inventory with barcoding and RFID capabilities to accelerate stock movement and reconciliation. Odoo Point Of Sale was configured for barcoded item scanning and fast checkout workflows, and reporting configurations produce automated sales reports by item, quantity, and value on daily, weekly, and monthly cadences. Purchase workflows were reconfigured in the Purchase module to shorten order to distribution cycles, reducing the time to create a purchase order and replenish store stock from 7 days to 2 days.
Odoo Point Of Sale was integrated with the Inventory and Sales modules to provide unified stock visibility across channels, enabling the company to track inventory location at the branch or warehouse level. The implementation also linked stock visibility to ecommerce channels including Noon, Amazon, and the company portal to streamline omnichannel fulfillment and reduce stock confusion between warehouses and branches.
Program governance combined the Odoo Customer Success Manager Dimitri Saad with implementation delivery by Tecfuge to coordinate configuration, user onboarding, and store level cutovers. Operational ownership was distributed to retail sales management, operations and ecommerce teams, with management receiving consolidated reporting to support merchandising and replenishment decisions.
Reported outcomes include faster fulfillment and more accurate channel level inventory visibility, simplified ecommerce expansion, and automated sales reporting that improves situational awareness for branch managers and executives. These structural changes positioned Odoo Point Of Sale and the broader Odoo suite as the system of record for retail transactions, inventory control, purchasing, and sales reporting at ColorLand Toys.
