Digitech Systems Legacy Digitech ImageSilo AP Automation ERP Caso Inc 2008 2008
In 2008, Commercial Metals Company implemented Digitech ImageSilo as an AP Automation solution to centralize and automate Accounts Payable across approximately 40 U.S. recycling yards. The deployment paired Digitech ImageSilo with PaperVision Enterprise WorkFlow to provide document capture, indexed storage, and workflow-driven routing for invoice and purchase-order documents. The implementation was executed in the United States with reseller Caso Inc supporting deployment and configuration. The technical configuration emphasized scanned document ingestion, electronic indexing, and workflow orchestration to move invoices through coded approval steps and into the finance team for payment processing. ImageSilo provided cloud-based document management and secure retrieval, while PaperVision Enterprise WorkFlow provided the process automation layer for routing, exception handling, and task assignment. These functional capabilities addressed core AP Automation needs such as invoice capture, approval routing, and audit-ready document retention. Integrations were focused on operational connectivity between the workflow engine and the ImageSilo repository, enabling automated routing of captured documents into ImageSilo for long-term storage and retrieval. The deployment scope was Accounts Payable in finance across the companys U.S. recycling yards rather than a single corporate site, supporting consistent AP processing across decentralized locations. Caso Inc served as the reseller and implementation reseller partner for the rollout. Governance and process restructuring centered on centralized AP processing and workflow-enforced approvals to standardize compliance and throughput. Reported outcomes from the program included improved compliance, a reduction in purchase-order processing time of about one-third, and six-figure annual personnel and shipping savings, reflecting operational and cost impacts stated by the customer.

Bentley Systems Legacy AssetWise Asset Reliability Asset Performance Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2019 2019
In 2019 Commercial Metals Company deployed AssetWise Asset Reliability to support Asset Performance Management and to centralize reliability engineering and maintenance operations in the Melt Shop in Birmingham AL. The implementation was positioned to instrument equipment health monitoring, formalize failure investigations, and provide a single reliability platform for on‑site maintenance and reliability teams. Configuration work focused on asset criticality and inspection workflows, including criticality studies covering over 300 assets to inform preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and Reliability Centered Maintenance practices. AssetWise Asset Reliability was configured to capture and manage failure investigation records using structured techniques such as root cause failure analysis, 5 Whys, FMEA, and sequence of events, and to support corrective action tracking and PM and PdM optimization strategies. The deployment incorporated tablet based equipment inspections through IVARA Bentley APM tooling and integrated predictive inputs from SeeQ Data Analytics, KCF Technologies wireless cloud vibration monitors, and drone based infrared and visual imaging. Stockpile inventory workstreams were linked using Propeller Cloud, and the implementation combined process data, vibration streams, and other predictive sources into an enterprise level package to enable trend correlation and quantification of equipment health. Governance and operationalization emphasized reliability process adoption and training, with site teams trained on inspection workflows and with reliability engineers leading RCFA and corrective action programs. Ongoing responsibilities included failure data studies, dashboard and time based report development, and continued expansion of predictive maintenance technologies within the AssetWise Asset Reliability environment.
