In 2015, Community Health Network implemented Stripe Payments to handle online transactions on its public website. Stripe Payments in the Payment Processing category is used to capture patient-facing online payments and other website-based charge capture for clinical and administrative services.
The deployment is web-integrated, embedding Stripe Payments client-side components and hosted checkout flows to keep card entry off CHN servers and reduce PCI scope. Configuration focuses on standard payment capture, tokenization, and authorization workflows consistent with Payment Processing implementations, using hosted checkout sessions to orchestrate the web payment experience. Stripe Payments is centralized at the payment layer to validate and settle card transactions initiated from the website.
Operational ownership is concentrated with web and revenue cycle teams who manage online collections and the payment pages on chnnyc.org, with the Stripe Payments integration designed to minimize direct handling of card data. Governance emphasizes hosted integration patterns and client-side tokenization to limit CHN infrastructure exposure to cardholder data and align web payment operations with healthcare data protection practices.

| ADP | Legacy | ADP Workforce Now | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2010 | 2010 |
In 2010, Community Health Network implemented ADP Workforce Now as its Core HR application. The deployment was driven by a mandate to ensure compliance with labor, equal employment opportunity, unemployment, workers compensation and other regulatory requirements while streamlining HR administration for an organization of over 600 employees, with the HR team serving as project manager for all HR related projects and phased rollout activity.
The ADP Workforce Now implementation covered core functional modules including employee benefits administration, paid time off, compensation management, onboarding and orientation, time and attendance, HRIS record keeping, reporting and analytics, and off boarding. ADP Workforce Now was configured to support HR informatics responsibilities, application adoption, workflow integration, end user training and ongoing troubleshooting, aligning system configuration to standard probationary and annual performance evaluation workflows and job description governance.
Integrations and operational coverage included an explicit ADP Etime integration for time and attendance and a published HR page on the employee portal to surface forms, policies and company updates. Operational scope extended across benefits programs such as FMLA, COBRA, short term disability, workers compensation, group insurance plans, 403b, transit, parking and flexible spending accounts, and included regular participation in Labor Relations activities, grievances, labor management meetings, labor negotiations, hearings and communications with 1199, as well as translation of Collective Bargaining Agreement language into HR policies and procedures.
Governance and workflow restructuring emphasized standardized personnel record keeping, an internal auditing framework, and process controls for Federal, State, Local and internal audit readiness. The program instituted scanned terminated file handling and record retrieval processes, strengthened vendor and broker relationship management for benefit services selection and implementation, and centralized HR communication via a dedicated HR communications group to triage employee inquiries and requests.
Documented outcomes from the initiative included successful management of four implementation phases for ADP Workforce Now and ADP Etime within an aggressive two month schedule, creation of an HR communication group to improve employee service response, development of an HR portal page to increase self service access to forms and policies, systematization of terminated file scanning for audit preparedness, and the establishment of an internal auditing system aligned to Federal, State, Local and internal auditor requirements.
