CentralSquare Legacy CentralSquare Medworxx Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2015 2015 In 2015 Fresno Community Regional Medical Center selected CentralSquare Medworxx to strengthen clinical operations using Analytics and BI, with a primary focus on case management, command-center operations, emergency department throughput and bed management in Fresno, CA. The deployment centered on the Medworxx Clinical Criteria capability inside CentralSquare Medworxx to provide clinical criteria-driven decision support at point of care and in operational control workflows. Configuration emphasized real-time analytics, clinical criteria engines and visualization to surface patient flow constraints, support case manager workflows and enable command-center orchestration. Functional modules implemented included the Medworxx Clinical Criteria ruleset, patient flow dashboards, and bed census and ED throughput monitoring functions consistent with Analytics and BI operational tooling. The implementation planned integration with the organization’s Epic EHR so case managers and command-center teams could consume real-time Medworxx analytics and identify and remove patient flow barriers, aligning EHR patient, order and bed status feeds with Medworxx processing. Operational coverage targeted the emergency department, case management and centralized command-center teams, enabling a unified clinical operations view. Governance and workflow alignment focused on embedding clinical criteria into case management decision steps and command-center escalation processes, with configuration of role-based access and operational dashboards for clinical and bed management teams. The narrative reflects an implementation that connected CentralSquare Medworxx Analytics and BI capabilities to clinical operations through Epic EHR integration and focused governance for patient flow control.
