Hyland Legacy Hyland AP Automation AP Automation ERP Financial Management Naviant Inc 2014 2014
In 2014, Construction Resources Management implemented Hyland AP Automation across its Midwest United States operations. The deployment was executed by Naviant Inc and leveraged the Hyland OnBase platform to automate accounts payable workflows. The implementation focused on AP invoice capture, automated workflow routing, and ERP integration to enable validated code selection and posting. Hyland AP Automation provided AP Automation capabilities including invoice capture and indexing, rules-based routing for approval, and mobile-enabled approval actions. Hyland AP Automation was integrated with Oracle JD Edwards to enable validated GL code selection and direct ERP posting from the capture and workflow layers. Operational coverage began with accounts payable and was later extended to human resources automation within Construction Resources Management. Governance was enforced through validation controls at capture and workflow approval gates to ensure coding accuracy prior to ERP posting. According to the case study, the project increased invoice visibility, eliminated at least one seasonal data-entry role, and accelerated approvals via mobile devices.
