In 2020, Coor Service Management invested in an upgraded support system centered on IBM Maximo, an Enterprise Asset Management application, to strengthen service delivery across its Nordic operations. The deployment targeted IBM Maximo version 7.1 Service Provider as the core platform for centralized support workflows and operational control.
Coor configured IBM Maximo for query handling, maintenance planning, purchasing and follow-up of service delivery, aligning the application with work order lifecycle management, preventive maintenance scheduling and procurement workflow orchestration. These Enterprise Asset Management capabilities were used to maintain asset registers, coordinate field service activities and provide structured SLA follow-up across multisite facilities management operations.
The implementation was scoped for progressive rollout throughout the Nordic region, with Service Development leadership coordinating staged adoption and governance to align operational processes and reporting across countries. Head of Service Development Karoliina Callavik led the effort to standardize follow-up procedures and to embed the application into Coor's service delivery governance.
Coor stated that the new system was expected to generate direct and indirect savings exceeding the total cost within three years, and positioned the IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management deployment to streamline service delivery while increasing quality of client follow-up.
