In 2018 Coram implemented ADP iHCM Payroll, Apps Category , to consolidate payroll operations for its UK non profit operations. The deployment centered on ADP iHCM Payroll as the primary payroll application and was used to standardize monthly payroll cycles across multiple internal entities.
The implementation covers core payroll processing modules and operational workflows, including processing 10 PAYE payrolls, administering monthly payroll for more than 700 employees across 10 entities, and handling overtime, expenses, and sessional timesheet inputs. ADP iHCM Payroll was used for end to end activities from data input and audit through to processing and Year End submission, with detailed pre-processing and post-processing checks and manual calculations for contract variations such as SMP, SSP, and SPP.
Integrations and operational interfaces included posting payroll outputs into GP Dynamics for general ledger reconciliation, maintaining 10 PAYE Gateway accounts and setting up direct debits for FPS payments to HMRC, and preparing monthly pension reconciliations with Aegon, Berkshire and Camden. Operational coverage referenced London United Kingdom payroll operations, and daily operational ownership included full control of the payroll inbox and management of staff and member enquiries related to payment and pension matters.
Governance and process restructuring emphasized maintaining employee records and confidentiality, analysing monthly reporting to reconcile production operations to the general ledger, and managing the complete payroll accounting cycle from data collection to HMRC lodgement.
