In 2018, CORIX Group of Companies (Canada) initiated an Oracle Cloud ERP implementation managed by Peloton Consulting Group, with an active delivery window from August 2018 to September 2019. The program was scoped as an ERP Financial initiative and targeted several North American business units to centralize finance and human capital workflows across the enterprise.
The Oracle Cloud ERP deployment encompassed Oracle Cloud Financials modules including General Ledger, Assets, Project, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Tax, and Reporting, together with Oracle HCM modules such as Time and Labor, Talent Management, Payroll, Benefits, and Employee Records. Core implementation activities included requirements gathering, solution analysis, configuration and testing, and readiness planning, reflecting typical ERP Financial and HCM functional workflows.
Integration planning and migration preparation were executed for more than 20 interfaces and external vendors, with explicit coordination for banks, lockbox services, Bank of Canada exchange rate feeds, accounts receivable systems, operations interfaces, tax authorities, security and treasury systems, legal and document retention stores, benefit providers, and job boards. The project prepared for consolidation from existing systems including Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Sage, JD Edwards, and ADP payroll, and organized interface and data migration workstreams accordingly.
Project governance included active RAID log management, escalation and resolution workflows, and ongoing updates to the project plan and work breakdown structure to maintain schedule and scope alignment. The implementation budget was stated as $20m over two years, with additional business units slated for year three, and the overall program impacting approximately 1000 employees across finance and HR functions.

In 2018, CORIX Group of Companies implemented Oracle Cloud HCM in the Core HR category as part of a broader Oracle Cloud Platform program delivered with Peloton Consulting Group. The initiative targeted Corix’s distributed operating footprint across 29 entities spanning three Canadian provinces and 18 U.S. states, aligning HR and payroll capabilities for a utilities operator serving over 300,000 customers.
Oracle Cloud HCM modules deployed included Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits, Time and Labor, and Absence Management, configured to enforce standardized HR and payroll policies and processes. The Oracle Cloud HCM deployment enabled employee and manager self-service, automated workflows and notifications across U.S. and Canada entities, and enhanced executive reporting for headcount, absence, turnover, and FTE management.
The HCM solution was implemented as part of a single Oracle Cloud Platform architecture alongside ERP Cloud for Financials, Projects and Procurement and EPM Cloud for Planning and Financial Consolidation and Close, providing consolidated data flows between HR, finance, and planning domains. The Oracle ERP Cloud component included migration of a legacy JDE instance to consolidate financial and procurement systems, and the multi-cloud architecture was designed to support shared service orchestration across HR and back-office functions.
Governance and process changes centralized back-office shared services, standardized payroll and HR policy governance across jurisdictions, and introduced workflow governance for payroll, absence, and recruiting processes coordinated by Peloton Consulting Group. The implementation is described as simplifying a fragmented toolset that previously included more than 15 systems, enabling simplified architecture and improved analytics and executive reporting for Corix leadership.
