In 2019 CorVel implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP in the ERP Financial category to transition core finance functions to a cloud-hosted PeopleSoft environment and to deliver greater agility, scale, and security. The decision was driven by Business Systems Manager Ann Bushnell and the company leadership to move PeopleSoft into an AWS environment while avoiding a full ERP rip and replace approach that had been evaluated and dismissed earlier.
ERPA served as the PeopleSoft managed services provider and used its ActiveGenie for AWS technology to automate installation and deployment of Oracle PeopleSoft ERP. Configuration work focused on standard ERP Financial capabilities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, period close orchestration, and financial reporting along with access controls and cloud security baseline hardening, all aligned to PeopleSoft operational workflows.
The architecture placed Oracle PeopleSoft ERP on AWS infrastructure following a comparative assessment of Azure and AWS, with AWS chosen for scalability, performance, flexibility, and security. Cross-functional collaboration between CorVel business and IT leaders was part of the program, and ERPA addressed IT concerns during roadmap definition to preserve business continuity and a seamless end-user experience.
Governance for the rollout emphasized risk mitigation and minimal disruption, ERPA and CorVel agreed on a final solution and completed the cloud migration in less than 8 weeks. Outcomes reported included a seamless end-user experience, enhanced flexibility, scalability, and security for Oracle PeopleSoft ERP, and a positive contribution to CorVel’s financials.

In 2023 CorVel deployed Docebo LMS as its Learning and Development platform, surfacing Docebo LMS on the CorVel corporate website to deliver employee training and compliance learning. The deployment positions Docebo LMS as the primary Learning and Development tool supporting CorVel’s internal learning programs and role based course delivery.
The implementation focuses on standard LMS capabilities including a managed course catalog, learning paths and assigned compliance content, administrative reporting and learner progress tracking. Configuration work aligns with common Learning and Development workflows, including role based access for administrators, managers and learners, content ingestion for packaged and authored learning assets, and automated enrollment rules to support mandatory training.
Docebo LMS is embedded on CorVel’s website to provide web based access for employees and external learners. While specific third party endpoints are not publicly documented, typical deployment architecture for this pattern includes web delivery of catalog content and central authentication integration, with HR aligned user provisioning expected as part of operational setup.
Governance and operating model center on HR and corporate learning teams owning content governance and enrollment policies, with administrators managing course lifecycle and compliance assignments. The rollout approach emphasizes integrating Docebo LMS into existing learning operations and instructor led scheduling to unify digital and classroom training under a single Learning and Development platform.

In 2017, CorVel implemented Bottomline Legal-X as its Legal Time and Billing platform, aligning the insurer with Bottomline Technologies' legal spend management capabilities. The implementation coincided with CorVel's engagement at Bottomline's Customer Insights Exchange, where industry sessions emphasized bill review automation and analytics for claims-heavy insurers.
Bottomline Legal-X was configured to manage legal and claims vendor spend, with core functional modules supporting automated bill review, invoice and time entry validation, and attorney compliance workflows. The deployment incorporated Bottomline's advanced analytics capability to expand the ability to mine and leverage legal spend data for program decision making.
The solution was deployed using Bottomline's cloud-based architecture and integrated with PartnerSelect, the cloud network that connects claims organizations with law firms to support objective firm selection and performance measurement. Operational scope focused on CorVel's claims and legal operations, standardizing vendor selection and bill review touchpoints across those functions.
Governance around the Bottomline Legal-X rollout emphasized attorney compliance processes and centralized bill review workflows, aligning internal approvals and external firm performance surveys. Bottomline documented that the platform increased efficiency in the bill review process, enabled better decision making, and delivered improved program results for participating insurers.
