| MYOB | MYOB Premier | MYOB Exo | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | Kilimanjaro Consulting | 2012 | 2012 | In 2012 Cotswold Furniture re-implemented MYOB Exo, deploying the MYOB Exo ERP Financial application to centralize financial and inventory processes across its retail and distribution operations. The re-implementation commenced on Wednesday June 6th, 2012 after an earlier implementation attempt had failed, and followed a deliberate remediation engagement with Kilimanjaro Consulting to address functional gaps and rollout risks. Cotswold Furniture moved from MYOB Premier because the prior system could not support multi-location information sharing, multi-currency transactions, or provide real-time inventory visibility. The MYOB Exo configuration emphasized core ERP Financial capabilities including general ledger and financial management, inventory and stock control with real-time stock visibility, branch or outlet transaction consolidation, and multi-currency handling to support importer and distribution workflows. Kilimanjaro Consulting led the project using a structured implementation methodology, working to understand and map Cotswold’s existing workflows into MYOB Exo and applying targeted customizations where standard configuration did not align. The deployment architecture was organized to share information between four retail outlets and a network of 20 dealers Australia-wide, with a central Exo instance configured to provide synchronized inventory and consolidated financials for sales, purchasing and distribution functions. Governance and post-go-live support were formalized through an ongoing partnership with Kilimanjaro Consulting, which provided implementation oversight, workflow mapping, user support and iterative configuration adjustments. The engagement resulted in a successful re-implementation of MYOB Exo that aligned the ERP Financial system to Cotswold Furniture’s operational requirements and established a support relationship to sustain system fit as the business grew. |
