| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle WebCenter Accounts Payable | AP Automation | ERP | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Cox Enterprises implemented Oracle WebCenter Accounts Payable as an AP Automation initiative to standardize invoice intake and processing across its finance organization. A WebCenter Admin Consultant performed configuration, administration, and server setup to provision Accounts Payable solutions and support operational continuity for invoice processing workloads.
The implementation centered on Oracle WebCenter Accounts Payable and associated Oracle toolsets, including WebCenter Capture also identified as Oracle WebCenter Enterprise Capture, IPM, Imaging and Process Management, OCR and form recognition components, WebCenter Accounting Distribution, WebCenter Imaging Viewer, and BPM. Configuration work included capture channel setup, OCR templates and recognition tuning, image storage and viewer configuration, and accounting distribution mapping to enable downstream financial posting workflows.
Architecturally the deployment emphasized server-side configuration and centralized imaging, with capture and OCR services ingesting invoices, IPM managing document lifecycle and metadata, and the WebCenter Imaging Viewer providing a review surface for AP analysts. BPM was instrumented to orchestrate validation, exception handling, and approval routing, aligning invoice routing with accounts payable and finance operational processes.
Operational governance focused on centralized administration of WebCenter components, configuration management of capture and OCR rules, and BPM workflow control to enforce invoice validation and approval steps. Oracle WebCenter Accounts Payable served as the AP Automation backbone for Cox Enterprises finance, unifying capture, imaging, accounting distribution, and workflow orchestration under an administratively managed server deployment.

| Sterling Talent Solutions | Legacy | Sterling Background Check | BackGround Screening | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Cox Enterprises deployed Sterling Background Check to operationalize pre-employment screening within Talent Acquisition. The Sterling Background Check implementation is categorized as BackGround Screening and was scoped to support the Recruiting Coordinator function, with a Talent Acquisition Recruiting Coordinator Lead project managing process design and vendor launch efforts.
Implementation work focused on configuring end to end pre-employment screening workflows in the Sterling Background Check application, including screening initiation, adjudication gating for contingent starts, and orchestration of candidate intake processes. Sterling Background Check was configured to enforce candidate contingent start rules and to align screening checkpoints with recruiting coordinator standard operating procedures.
The program included explicit integration activity, with the Sterling pre-employment vendor integrated into recruiting workflows and participation in the ongoing integration of the enterprise HCM, Workday. Operational coverage extended across the Recruiting Coordinator team and required close coordination with Compliance and Legal, Accounts Payable, and Strategy and Enablement partners to align screening, onboarding gating, and reimbursement touchpoints.
Governance was formalized through a revamped Recruiting Coordinator Team Standard Operating Procedural manual, a Candidate Contingent Start Process developed with Compliance and Legal, and a Candidate Travel Reimbursement Process developed with Accounts Payable and Strategy and Enablement. The Recruiting Coordinator Lead served as the primary point of contact for team wide interactive online recruiting accuracy and ongoing integration work with Workday and the Sterling Background Check implementation.

In 2013, Cox Enterprises implemented Oracle Maintenance Cloud as its Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) application. The implementation concentrated on security hardening, maintenance patch validation, and functional page and workflow configuration within the Oracle Maintenance Cloud environment.
Workstreams executed against Oracle Maintenance Cloud included testing and application of maintenance patches 18A and 18B, application of new security configurations targeted at Goal performance settings, and page customization using Oracle page composer. The program reconfigured maintenance workflows to align with updated security controls and to standardize transactional flows within the CMMS.
The engagement documented Oracle Cloud Security for Talent Acquisition as part of a broader Oracle Cloud security posture, indicating cross-application security configuration and control practices applied alongside Oracle Maintenance Cloud. Changes were applied across nine boxes, reflecting multi-instance or multi-environment rollout sequencing for patching and configuration updates.
Governance artifacts delivered included Best Business Practices for Oracle Cloud Security and new security configuration designs for improved performance and consistency. The workstream emphasized repeatable patch testing, controlled page composition changes, and workflow governance to operationalize the updated Oracle Maintenance Cloud configuration.
