TradeShift Legacy Tradeshift E-invoicing AR Automation ERP n/a 2020 2020
In 2020 Copenhagen Airport Denmark implemented Tradeshift E-invoicing as an AR Automation initiative to digitize and streamline high-volume invoice processing across finance and purchase-to-pay. The program targeted nearly 50,000 supplier invoices per year, aiming to reduce paper handling and introduce automated invoice intake and routing to support operational efficiency at Europe’s most efficient airport. The deployment centered on core e-invoicing and accounts payable automation capabilities, including electronic invoice capture, network-based invoice exchange, configurable workflow automation for approval and exception handling, and supplier onboarding to the Tradeshift E-invoicing network. Configuration emphasized purchase-to-pay agility so invoice processing rules and approval chains could evolve with procurement practices while preserving existing ERP recordkeeping. Tradeshift E-invoicing was integrated to work alongside existing ERP systems and other finance solutions, enabling invoice data synchronization and transactional continuity without replacing named backend systems. Governance focused on finance and procurement ownership of workflow rules and supplier interactions, and the vendor worked closely with Copenhagen Airport Denmark to support rollout challenges and to keep AP operations running during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft 365 Collaboration Collaboration n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, Copenhagen Airport Denmark implemented Microsoft 365 for Collaboration to support corporate communications and internal productivity functions. The presence of Microsoft 365 on the public website indicates a cloud-first productivity tenancy was provisioned as part of the airport’s application footprint. Microsoft 365 is used to provide standard Collaboration capabilities such as email, document collaboration, and web-facing content management that serve administrative, communications, and commercial teams. The implementation suggests a focus on cloud-hosted productivity and content workflows, with typical Microsoft 365 tenancy controls for identity and access applied to govern usage across the organization.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft SharePoint Enterprise Content Management Content Management n/a 2010 2010
In 2010, Copenhagen Airport Denmark implemented Microsoft SharePoint as its Enterprise Content Management platform to support public websites and a passenger loyalty program. The airport had previously used Microsoft SharePoint technologies for intranet and project-team collaboration, and selected SharePoint Server 2010 for Internet Sites because the platform could handle Internet, extranet, and intranet sites and the organization already held licenses under its Microsoft Enterprise Agreement. SharePoint Server 2010 for Internet Sites was deployed as the front-end content delivery and web presentation layer, while Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Commerce Server 2009, and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 were configured to provide back-end transactional and data management capabilities. Functional modules included Internet Sites content management, commerce engine support through Microsoft Commerce Server 2009, a centralized customer profile and loyalty data store in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and relational data persistence in SQL Server 2008. Implementation work with Netcompany produced two public sites, CPH Advantage and CPH Tax-Free, both running on SharePoint Server 2010 for Internet Sites with Microsoft Dynamics CRM handling membership profiles and transactional customer data. The architecture emphasized interoperability, with SharePoint Server 2010 integrated to surface CRM-driven profile and purchase data, and Commerce Server and SQL Server providing the transactional and database services that support customer journeys and shopping workflows. Governance and rollout leveraged the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement Volume Licensing program to enable rapid, cost-effective, and flexible deployment and scaling across the organization, and CPH validated the approach through peer discussions with other SharePoint Server 2010 customers in Denmark. Operational processes were adjusted to create a master profile record in Microsoft Dynamics CRM for every CPH Advantage member, storing personal and shopping data to centralize customer data management and align content delivery with loyalty and commerce workflows.
