The implementation supported collaboration between the senior cost accounting function and operational teams to capture process and product cost inputs, and to integrate cost processes and policies for newly acquired businesses and market expansion.
Governance workstreams focused on documenting business processes and accounting policies, strengthening internal controls around inventory and cost, and establishing month end and quarter end schedules for cost reconciliation and consolidated reporting.
