In 2014, Crinitis implemented SAP Business One as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment supported a hospitality group of roughly 150 employees operating six restaurants and centralized core financial functions for the Crinitis Group.
SAP Business One was configured to manage core accounting workflows including bank and credit card reconciliations, accounts payable processing, preparation of BAS statements, and month end closing with journal entries. The system underpinned preparation of monthly financial statements and routine balance sheet reconciliations, and it produced detailed management reporting such as budget versus actual, sales and COGS variance by department, and wage cost variance reporting.
The implementation covered payroll adjacent processes by supporting the payroll officer with payroll tax reports, superannuation reporting, and workers compensation reporting on monthly and quarterly cycles. Financial operations for fleet management including vehicle registration, insurance, fuel and toll maintenance were maintained alongside SAP Business One reporting to provide consolidated operational cost visibility.
Governance practices included supervision of bookkeeping staff and structured monthly presentation of management reports to directors, aligning finance workflows and internal controls. During the period of use the accounting team reported explicit cost reductions, approximately AUD 60,000 in fixed cost savings during employment and AUD 35,000 in the final five months, while the finance team used SAP Business One to support six restaurants with a small centralized team.

In 2018 Crinitis implemented Flare Onboarding as the group level Onboarding solution to centralize new hire intake across its portfolio of approximately 12 venues operating in and around Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane. Flare Onboarding was positioned to standardize onboarding paperwork, controls and initial HR workflows for the Crinitis employee lifecycle.
The deployment focused on onboarding process configuration, document review and verification workflows, and training coordination. Day to day operational controls included review of employee paperwork before payroll cutoff and monthly VEVO checks and audits, while training materials and manuals were developed to feed into the onboarding sequence. Flare Onboarding supported the HR function by codifying these steps and ensuring a repeatable onboarding process.
Technically the implementation formed one tier of a three tier integration pattern, connecting Flare HR onboarding and HR processes with Deputy for time and attendance and Sage MicrOpay for payroll. The project also incorporated an online training platform, Typsy, for new hire learning and used Wunderlist as the SLT project tracking and prioritization tool, creating a workflow bridge between HR, operations and senior leadership.
Governance was formalized through weekly Senior Leadership Team meetings where agendas, project status and outcomes were reviewed, and project delivery was managed through Wunderlist. Achievements reported during the engagement included a project manager role that drove the three tier payroll integration, which was exceeding performance criteria and tracking ahead of schedule at time of departure, along with documented reductions in office running costs and improvements in staff morale tied to process and benefits changes.

In 2018, Crinitis implemented Fedelta POS as its Point Of Sale during the mobilisation and launch of the Criniti's Perth site. The Fedelta POS deployment targeted front-of-house transaction processing, table management, and customer-facing order workflows, aligning cashiering and service attendant activities with booking and roster touchpoints. Crinitis Fedelta POS Point Of Sale supported customer service and reservations interactions through explicit integrations with Time Target and the restaurant booking databases referenced by staff.
The implementation was executed as a site-centric POS rollout at the Perth restaurant, provisioning POS terminals for service attendants and configuring operational workflows for order entry, payments, and shift handling. Integrations with Time Target were used to align rostering and timekeeping data with point-of-sale operations, and booking database links provided synchronized reservation status and cover management for floor operations. Governance focused on mobilisation and launch practices, operator training, and procedural handovers to front-of-house teams, ensuring that cash handling, booking synchronization, and customer service workflows were enforced across the Fedelta POS environment.
