| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Crown Worldwide Group implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. The deployment targeted Core HR to centralize employee master data, standardize time off and recruitment workflows, and establish a single-source HRIS for core HR operations.
An IT Project Manager based in Hong Kong served as IT technical lead for the implementation, driving the Recruitment Management rollout and a Locale Migration project to deprecate an obsoleted locale. Configuration work included MDF object maintenance, business rules and notification setup, and locale-specific configuration to support multi-country deployments.
The program streamlined the integration schedule to reduce errors and addressed integration issues encountered during cutover, while the new country deployment process incorporated data imports for initial balances. Time Off functionality was enhanced through automated accruals and period end processing, and programming syntax was standardized across configurations to reduce system errors.
Governance focused on ongoing HRIS support processes, including continued MDF and business rule maintenance and technical ownership of integration troubleshooting. The explicit outcomes recorded during the engagement include reduced errors from the streamlined integration schedule and lower system error rates after standardizing configuration syntax.
