In 2016 CTtransit implemented Accruent FAMIS as its CMMS to manage Utilities Management activities. The deployment centralized work order intake and tracking across maintenance operations, and day to day technicians and planners work daily on the Accruent FAMIS work order system, monitoring incoming work orders and overall workload. The system was configured to enforce work order lifecycle states, technician assignment, and dispatch visibility.
Accruent FAMIS was configured to provide core modules for work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, asset and equipment records, and inventory control, reflecting standard Utilities Management functional taxonomy. Operational scope centers on maintenance and facilities business functions, with supervisors and planners using the Accruent FAMIS work order system as the authoritative record for prioritization and resource allocation. Governance emphasizes daily monitoring and workload balancing through CMMS work order queues and role based access to operational dashboards.
