In 2016, Cumberland Farms upgraded Oracle Applications from 11.5.10 to Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.3 as its ERP Financial implementation. The engagement concentrated on core financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Workflow Administrator, Fixed Assets and Subledger Accounting, and it executed conference room pilot and user acceptance testing cycles to validate transactional and period end processes.
Configuration and functional work included creation of payment process profiles and positive pay configuration with assignment to bank accounts, remediation and configuration of WebADI to stabilize data loads, and subledger accounting setups. The team developed Financial Statement Generator reports and built FSG reports in GL such as department expenses and intercompany summary, and implemented mass additions workflows. User training sessions were delivered for accounts payable, accounts receivable, mass additions and subledger accounting to prepare finance users for operational use.
Operational coverage extended across finance functions with direct involvement in period closure activities for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger to reinforce month end governance. Workflow administration work established approval routing and notification within Oracle E-Business Suite to align application controls with business processes. Documentation of system setups and business process flows was produced to support ongoing governance and handoff to finance teams.
Testing, training and documentation were the primary rollout mechanisms, coupled with technical stabilization of reporting and WebADI components. Oracle E-Business Suite as the ERP Financial application provided a consolidated platform for Cumberland Farms financial processing and reporting.

| Solera | Legacy | Omnitracs Roadnet Transportation Suite | Transportation Management | SCM | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015 Cumberland Farms implemented Omnitracs Roadnet Transportation Suite for Transportation Management to centralize route planning and scheduling across its retail distribution footprint. The deployment targeted transportation and logistics operations that supported approximately 1,000 weekly deliveries to more than 600 stores, servicing a 40 vehicle fleet and a driver pool of roughly 75 staff, and supporting store replenishment workflows tied to $500 million in annual goods movement.
Configuration of Omnitracs Roadnet Transportation Suite focused on routing and scheduling capabilities typical of Transportation Management systems, including route optimization, stop sequencing, vehicle allocation, and automated daily dispatching. The implementation emphasized driver assignment, schedule automation, and mileage tracking to support operational planning and route-efficiency workflows.
The solution was applied to both inbound and outbound scheduling functions and explicitly integrated with DOT compliance tooling referenced in operational notes, specifically XATA and PeopleNet, to align telematics and driver qualification records with delivery operations. Operational coverage spanned the transportation department and store replenishment teams, enabling coordinated scheduling between dispatch, drivers, and helpers.
Governance and process changes included formalized driver scheduling, quarterly driver training, and drug testing cadence to maintain DOT compliance, and ongoing route management processes for daily operations. Operational outcomes recorded in implementation notes included a 5% reduction in annual mileage and a 5% reduction in overtime costs, reflecting targeted efficiency gains from route scheduling and personnel allocation.
