The implementation configured Procede Excede DMS modules for inventory lifecycle management, sales workflow orchestration, accounting ledger feeds and consolidated finance reporting. Project work included automation of controlling ACH transactions to eliminate manual vendor account manipulation and migration of numerous Visual Basic reports into centralized dashboards to improve operational visibility.
Integrations included a security linkage to Bank of America Positive Pay to secure electronic transactions and prevent fraud, and payment controls for ACH processing to enforce vendor payment governance. Operational coverage and project oversight were executed from Fort Mill, South Carolina and targeted business functions in inventory, sales, finance and accounts payable.
Governance was run under a Project Manager and Scrum Master model with a team of business analysts, regular scrum ceremonies including daily standup, sprint planning, retrospectives and backlog grooming, and JIRA used to manage the product backlog. Quality validation was enforced through UAT to validate programming code and product behavior before rollout, with the project manager removing obstacles and driving process improvement.
