In 1998, Dajaco Industries implemented Valsoft AIM Vision as an Automotive ERP deployment to automate EDI trading partner onboarding and ASN and label compliance across its manufacturing operations. The initial phase focused on instrumenting electronic trading flows and compliance workflows to standardize supplier and customer communications.
The rollout leveraged AIM Vision EDI and AIM AutoSys modules, including EDI, Bar Code Labeling, Shipping & Receiving, Inventory and Production, to provide material control and production reporting. The multi phase program began with EDI in 1998, added material control capabilities in 2009, and introduced AIM Mobility shop floor applications in 2018 to extend data capture and transactions to operators on the production floor. The Valsoft AIM Vision configuration emphasized barcode labeling and ASN generation to enforce carrier and retailer label compliance.
Operational coverage spanned Dajaco’s U.S. plants with measurable improvements in shop floor visibility in Michigan, USA. Integrations centered on EDI trading partner onboarding and automated ASN and label exchanges, while the bar code labeling, shipping and receiving, inventory and production modules fed inventory and production ledgers for coordinated material movement. Inventory control across sites produced inventory accuracy regularly in the 98–99% range.
Governance followed a phased rollout that automated partner onboarding first, then layered material control and mobility to align shop floor workflows with EDI and warehouse processes. The program standardized EDI and labeling compliance across Dajaco Industries and institutionalized inventory and production controls within the Valsoft AIM Vision Automotive ERP implementation.
