Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP n/a 2007 2007
In 2007 Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport implemented Oracle E-Business Suite, classified as ERP Financial. The upgrade to Oracle E-Business Suite was led internally and completed successfully without external consultants. The deployment focused on ERP Financial functions, with configuration work across core financial management, procurement and inventory control capabilities. Implementation activities emphasized accounts payable, general ledger, purchasing workflows and inventory valuation processes to align transactional finance with operational inventory behavior. Operational coverage included finance, procurement, the Central Warehouse and the print shop, bringing transactional workflows and inventory records into a unified ERP Financial environment. Central Warehouse inventory management settings within Oracle E-Business Suite were adjusted to support stocking decisions and physical inventory reconciliation as part of the deployment. Governance and process transformation were formalized through internal ownership of the upgrade and application of Six Sigma improvements in the print shop and warehouse. The airport implemented its first Green Procurement Program through procurement policy and system configuration, and right sized the Central Warehouse producing a 20% reduction in items carried, linking ERP Financial controls to supply chain and procurement governance.

Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR HCM The JW Group (JWG) 2018 2019
In 2018, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport engaged The JW Group, JWG, to develop an IT Strategic Plan and a five-year technology roadmap that included planning for Oracle Cloud HCM within the airport Core HR landscape. The strategic plan documented an inventory and assessment of the airport technology environment and evaluated emerging technologies to streamline business operations and support safe airport operations. The Oracle Cloud HCM implementation was scoped as a cloud SaaS deployment of Core HR capabilities, with emphasis on workforce administration, personnel data centralization, benefits administration and talent management workflows. Configuration work focused on security role design, HR record standardization and automation of core HR processes to align with airport staffing and administrative practices for an organization of this size. Integrations and system touchpoints were explicitly analyzed as part of the plan, including alignment with Oracle Cloud ERP for Finance and Human resources and potential interfaces with SkiData Parking Revenue Management, Ground Transportation Management, Website and Mobile Applications, Project Management and Portfolio Management, Enterprise Content Management and Mass Notification systems. Operational coverage for the Oracle Cloud HCM scope included Information Technology Services, HR, Finance and operational groups involved in passenger journey and airport operations. Governance and rollout planning was led by JWG and included human capital recommendations for IT staffing, IT organizational standards and phased prioritization of workstreams. The roadmap incorporated stakeholder engagement, gap and SWOT analysis, cost estimating and phasing to guide configuration, procurement and managed delivery of Oracle Cloud HCM across administrative and operational departments.

Hexagon Legacy HxGN EAM (Ex. Infor EAM) Enterprise Asset Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport implemented HxGN EAM, an Enterprise Asset Management application. The deployment established HxGN EAM as the central CMMS for the Energy, Transportation and Asset Management Department, positioning the application as the system of record for assets and maintenance operations. Configuration focused on core Enterprise Asset Management capabilities including asset registry management, work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, labor tracking, and operational data capture. The implementation used HxGN EAM to automate and streamline maintenance workflows, with an EAM Administrator responsible for day to day system administration, configuration, reporting, and liaison duties between ETAM staff and ITS. Integrations centered on data exchanges and functional relationships with the airports financial and labor reporting systems to preserve asset financial attributes and labor costing, and coordination with ITS for technical operations and user support. Data governance emphasized maintaining an accurate asset master and operational data within the CMMS to support maintenance planning and reporting across ETAM operational sites. Governance and operational ownership were formalized through a dedicated EAM Administrator who provided project management support and technical consulting for EAM related projects, managed configuration changes, and guided process improvements. HxGN EAM operated as the primary Enterprise Asset Management platform to centralize asset data, work management, and operational reporting for Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
