Automation and systems orchestration used Ansible for repeatable configuration tasks, while monitoring and alarming were established for production and post-production environments. A proof of concept of Oracle cloud migration was executed with Oracle as a technical exploration of alternative hosting.
Operational governance emphasized technical and data maintenance, with application maintenance TMA and data maintenance TMD processes defined. Technical testing after migrations and upgrades, Linux and Oracle database patch application, incident management with Oracle Support, and collaborative investigation and troubleshooting with PeopleSoft functional teams were part of the ongoing run book and support model.
