The deployment focused on core HR capabilities typical for the category, including employee master data, organizational management and position control, absence and leave tracking, benefits administration, configurable HR transaction workflows, and employee self-service and reporting. Deltek HRSmart was configured to enforce role-based access and to centralize HR master data as the system of record.
The implementation is integrated with Deltek Talent Management, using Deltek Talent Management as the applicant tracking system on DAVACO, Inc.'s career site, aligning applicant records and hiring workflows with employee records in Deltek HRSmart. This integration supports a continuous hire to onboard workflow between the career center and the Core HR system.
Operational governance was established with HR owning master data and process configuration while IT provided technical support, and standardization of HR workflows was introduced to improve consistency of personnel transactions across business units. The implementation emphasizes centralized HRIS governance, role-based approvals and audit-ready recordkeeping.

In 2020, DAVACO, Inc. implemented Autodesk BuildingConnected as its Construction Bidding platform for preconstruction and estimating workflows. The deployment supported national project coverage, providing estimating, budgeting, and vendor tracking capabilities for projects throughout the United States.
Autodesk BuildingConnected was used as the central system for vendor management and bid coordination, while the estimating department configured dedicated estimating and budgeting tools to support scopes from conceptual through 100 percent construction documents. The estimating team developed budgets and estimates and trained fellow estimators to apply standardized estimating processes and departmental templates.
Bluebeam was utilized to produce detailed quantity take-offs in preparation for budgets and estimates, and those take-offs informed estimating inputs managed alongside the Autodesk BuildingConnected vendor database. Operational hand-off meetings formalized the transition from Preconstruction to Operations, enabling collaborative transfer of estimates, documents, and scope information.
Governance emphasized ownership by the estimating function, with process changes that included estimator training, standardized estimating artifacts, and ongoing maintenance of the vendor management database in Autodesk BuildingConnected. The implementation maintained client relationships through consistent preconstruction services and produced collaborative alignment between Preconstruction and Operations.
