| Oracle | Ellucian Banner ERP | Oracle Cloud ERP | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2023 | 2024 |
In 2023, Davidson College implemented Oracle Cloud ERP, migrating from Ellucian Banner ERP as part of an ERP Financial initiative that spans the 2023 to 2024 HCM and ERP rollout. The Oracle Cloud ERP deployment targets core finance and HR financial workflows and is being evaluated across 2023 to determine the need for any custom reporting beyond vendor capabilities.
The implementation focuses on Oracle Cloud ERP financial and human capital capabilities while retaining a selective reporting footprint on data.davidson.edu. Finance reports generally will not be migrated to the cloud during 2023, with most existing finance reports expected to become obsolete by early 2024. An explicit exception is the set of Departmental Budget Reports, specifically the Monthly Budget Report, Operating Budget Report, and Fund Balance Report, which have been migrated to the Power BI Service to coexist with cloud-based reporting. HR manager and supervisor reports are also being held on the existing reporting site pending Oracle HCM delivery, and self-service reports that rely on Banner data remain in place until the HCM/ERP cutover.
Operational coverage and integrations reflect a mixed on-premises and cloud reporting strategy, with data.davidson.edu retaining specific datasets and the Power BI Service hosting select departmental reports. Vendor Lookup and Chart of Accounts Lookup Power BI reports were moved to the Power BI Service to support departmental budget managers. Faculty-facing class rosters are retained on data.davidson.edu due to insufficient Power BI cloud licenses for the full faculty body, while the advanced suite used by department chairs and program heads to track student degree progress will move to cloud reporting. Holistic advisor reports remain on the existing site because of license limits, and College Directory reports were retired in Spring 2023 with directory functionality planned to transition into Oracle in 2024.
Governance and rollout are governed by staged evaluation and selective migration decisions, with Davidson evaluating Oracle reporting capabilities throughout 2023 before authorizing additional report builds in the cloud. License constraints for Power BI are an explicit operational limitation influencing which user groups are migrated immediately and which remain on the institutional reporting site. The narrative reflects a cautious, role-based rollout across finance, HR, departmental budget managers, faculty, chairs, and advisors while Oracle Cloud ERP becomes the institutional ERP Financial backbone.

| PageUp | Legacy | PageUp ATS | Applicant Tracking System | HCM | n/a | 2011 | 2011 |
In 2011, Davidson College deployed PageUp ATS as its Applicant Tracking System. PageUp ATS is implemented on Davidson College's public website to host institutional job postings and capture external applicant submissions for faculty and staff roles.
The implementation leverages Applicant Tracking System capabilities for job posting management, online application intake, resume parsing, candidate tracking, configurable application forms, interview scheduling, and offer workflow support. Configuration focused on standard recruitment workflows and candidate lifecycle tracking to centralize hiring processes for recruiters and departmental hiring managers.
Technical deployment centers on web-hosted applicant capture integrated directly with the college website, providing a single source of applicant records accessible to HR, talent acquisition staff, and hiring managers. Operational coverage includes institutional HR and departmental hiring functions within the United States, with role-based access controls and audit logging to support governance and recruitment approvals.
Governance emphasized centralized requisition workflows and defined approval paths for departments and hiring managers, aligning hiring processes with institutional policy. The PageUp ATS implementation established a consistent recruitment operational model, with candidate data and hiring workflows maintained through the PageUp ATS instance on Davidson's website.

In 2015, Davidson College implemented Accruent EMS, a Facility Management application. Accruent EMS serves as the campus Event Management System and space management tool accessible via the EMS WebApp at ems.davidson.edu, and all campus users can request space using the EMS WebApp which establishes a centrally managed intake for room and event requests.
Accruent EMS was configured as the canonical starting point for event records and space reservations, supporting event metadata capture, booking calendars, and scheduling workflows consistent with Facility Management functionality. The implementation emphasizes event intake and reservation orchestration, with the system holding authoritative scheduling information that drives downstream publication.
Accruent EMS integrates with the Campus Calendar and publishes events into Davidson One, creating an operational chain from user request to public listing. The deployment covers campus-wide operational scope, supporting academic and co-curricular event intake and centralizing event initiation to enforce consistent calendar publishing and scheduling governance.
