In 2019, DAZN Group operated Oracle Cloud ERP within its ERP Financial environment, continuing a deployment that was originally implemented in 2015 during Perform Group's early global Oracle Cloud adoption. The engagement focused on automating complex indirect tax workflows to support DAZN's global streaming business across major sports markets.
DAZN integrated an automated indirect tax determination solution into Oracle Cloud ERP to manage sales tax and VAT, implementing Oracle-specific tax content and built-in tax logic covering more than 150 countries. The implementation delivered bespoke configuration and automated processes tailored to DAZN's diverse global business lines, enabling the Oracle Cloud ERP tax engine to determine the correct tax treatment for the large majority of routine transactions while surfacing only complex exceptions for human review.
The tax automation was deployed across 32 countries, including the US, Canada, Germany, the UK and Japan, and was integrated alongside work performed by a major systems integrator and DAZN's tax professionals. From inception to go-live the Oracle Cloud ERP tax integration was completed in three months, and the automated technology was designed to process millions of transactions annually and to accept frequent updates for rate and rule changes.
Governance was established through close collaboration between DAZN finance and tax teams, the systems integrator and the tax technology provider, with ongoing support and upgrades delivered over the following four years. The implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP and the automated indirect tax solution enabled DAZN to adopt immediate regulatory changes across the selected countries and to maintain compliance in fast changing environments such as those driven by Covid-19 and Brexit.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2019 | 2020 |
In 2019, DAZN Group implemented Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management as part of its broader Oracle HCM Cloud application suite. The Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management deployment serves the Absence and Leave Management category and was provisioned as a centralized cloud-hosted HCM instance supporting Core HR, Absence Management, Performance Management, and Taleo Recruitment modules.
Configuration and functional scope focused on standard absence lifecycle capabilities, including leave entitlement rules, absence balances, multi-type leave workflows, and absence approvals routed through the Oracle HCM framework. Reporting and analytics were delivered using OBIEE, BI Publisher, and OTBI dashboards to surface absence trends and support HR casework, while HCM Data Loader was used for bulk data imports and corrections. The People Systems & Insight Manager role owned day-to-day application operations, troubleshooting, user support, and small fixes or workarounds to maintain continuity of absence administration.
Operational coverage targeted the Global People team, with the People Systems function also overseeing the applicant tracking operational stack, managing Lever and formerly Oracle Taleo for hiring workflows. The implementation emphasized security and data integrity through governance of global HCM roles, security profiles, permissions, and compliance controls within the Oracle Cloud HCM environment. Periodic upgrade processes were managed through formal testing cycles, including creation of test cases, test scripts, and test logs to validate releases and remediate identified issues.
Governance and process changes included training the global People team on reporting and data entry, driving towards a self-service reporting model on OTBI, and coordinating with third-party providers for escalated support. The People Systems lead participated in strategic planning for the HCM roadmap and administered agreed service budgets with suppliers, while operational processes retained an emphasis on data accuracy, secure role management, and controlled upgrade testing.
