In 2015, Dekra NL implemented Exact Globe within its ERP Financial environment to support insurance claim handling and core financial processes. The deployment integrated Exact Globe with Exact Synergy workflows, establishing an ERP Financial and case management footprint across Dekra Claims and Expertise operations in the Netherlands, France, and Belgium. Exact Globe was configured to handle accounting, ledger control, and transaction processing while Exact Synergy managed claims orchestration and workflow automation.
Implementation work combined functional and technical application management, including configuration of Exact Synergy modules such as Solution Builder and Trigger & Validation Manager to align software with insurance claim processes, and adjusting business process flows to the application. Technical activities included SQL data remediation, correction of application errors, development and maintenance of reports using Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, and ongoing end user support and ad hoc management reporting. The main data platform for reporting and data integrity work was Microsoft SQL.
Operational governance shifted from an initial five person team to a single application manager responsible from 2015 onward for Netherlands, France, and Belgium, consolidating ownership of Exact Globe and Exact Synergy application stacks. In 2020 and 2021 Dekra NL completed a redesign and rebuild of business processes into the latest version of Exact Synergy while omitting previous custom solutions, streamlining workflows and reducing bespoke code.
