In 2015 Delancey engaged LoopUp as a managed voice and meetings provider, deploying hosted Skype for Business as part of a broader Audio Video and Web Conferencing initiative to modernize telephony and meeting capabilities. The engagement positioned LoopUp as the primary Audio Video and Web Conferencing application for company communications, linking meetings and PSTN voice access to a managed service model.
The implementation included hosted Skype for Business deployment initially and later migrated to Microsoft Teams Calling with LoopUp to consolidate telephony across Delancey’s UK operations. Core capabilities implemented were managed voice services, meetings hosting, and simplified PSTN access, delivered through LoopUp’s managed platform integrated with Microsoft collaboration endpoints.
Operational scope was the IT and telephony project for the United Kingdom, covering internal and external call handling across corporate communications and operational teams. The rollout centralized telephony routing and meeting provisioning, aligning contact handling and call continuity under LoopUp and Microsoft Teams Calling to streamline user experience across sites.
Governance and change touched IT telephony operations and user adoption processes, with the project driving increased use of Teams for internal and external calls. Outcomes reported included simplified PSTN access, improved call quality and continuity during the COVID-19 period, and higher adoption of Microsoft Teams calling workflows with LoopUp as the managed provider.
