In 2021, Dentsu Digital Anchor implemented MoneyForward Cloud HCM to centralize personnel information and automate HR workflows under the Core HR category. The deployment followed an earlier staged adoption of Money Forward cloud modules that began in 2020 with cloud attendance, payroll, and year-end adjustment, and addressed rapid headcount growth and the increased use of telework which made real-time employee data visibility essential.
The implementation encompassed cloud personnel management, cloud social insurance, and cloud contracts, integrated operationally with the existing cloud attendance, payroll, and year-end modules. MoneyForward Cloud HCM was configured to enable online employee change requests, paperless contract renewals, and centralized personnel records, reducing manual data entry and standardizing HR transactional processes across the company.
Integrations were implemented inside the Money Forward cloud ecosystem, with automatic linking of personnel, attendance, and payroll data to eliminate siloed spreadsheets. The accounting firm supporting Dentsu Digital Anchor was already using Money Forward cloud accounting, which facilitated information sharing and reconciliations, and the solution was used across administration and HR functions to support managers and employees in both head office operations and coordination with the Tokyo branch office.
Governance and process changes focused on digitizing application workflows and authorization flows for address changes, dependent registration, allowances and leave entitlements, and contract renewals. These workflow changes introduced online application and sharing of employee information, reduced back-office handoffs with external accounting partners, and created an auditable, cloud-based personnel information registry.
As an explicit result of the rollout, automatic linking of multiple clouds significantly reduced workload and input errors, and personnel information management workload was reported as reduced to one third. The MoneyForward Cloud HCM deployment enabled near real-time access to employee information, reduced administrative burden on managers and staff, supported remote work scenarios, and allowed the company to focus more on employee performance and human resources development.
