GeoWorx Sync was adopted to integrate the geodatabase with Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management, providing commercial off the shelf synchronization between GIS and the EAM system, and the GeoWorx Sync component was installed and configured within one workday to enable immediate data sharing between the two disparate databases. Governance and process restructuring moved hydrant inspection from paper based forms to mobile collection and electronic synchronization, creating a single source of truth for hydrant condition and inspection history. The implementation scope explicitly connected field crews, DWSD asset managers, and fire operations to the Enterprise Asset Management platform, enabling faster reporting and coordinated maintenance response, and it strengthened inspection, reporting, and data sharing processes as originally intended.

As stated by project leads, outcomes included expedited and streamlined report creation and tracking, new management visualizations tied to consolidated data, and a governed analytics pipeline that supplied decision support for fiscal planning and customer service strategy.
