In 2018, Didriksons implemented Litium CMS to scale its ecommerce presence into new markets including Germany and the United Kingdom. The Litium CMS implementation was delivered as part of a Litium Commerce Cloud deployment, with Distancify named as the implementation partner.
Didriksons configured Litium CMS to centralize content authoring, product page management, multilingual site publishing and campaign landing pages, leveraging the Content Management capabilities of the platform. Configuration work emphasized templating, editorial workflows and digital asset organization to accelerate merchandising and marketing execution across channels.
The Commerce Cloud architecture connected the CMS to the ecommerce storefront and commerce operations to support cross border expansion, unifying marketing, merchandising and operations workflows across markets. Operational scope covered ecommerce and digital commerce business functions, with site content and localized product pages targeted at the Germany and United Kingdom markets.
Distancify managed a phased rollout and established editorial governance, approval workflows and a release cadence linking marketing and operations teams. Following the implementation Didriksons achieved rapid online growth and quadrupled its digital business year over year, illustrating the impact of the Litium CMS driven Content Management program on its ecommerce operations.
