In 2019 Diebold Nixdorf implemented Oracle Cloud ERP, committing the combined organization to a single Oracle Cloud ERP instance. This initiative is categorized as ERP Financial and replaced Diebold’s Oracle E-Business Suite while consolidating the former Nixdorf SAP estate onto Oracle Cloud ERP to create an enterprise-wide back-office platform.
The implementation centered on core ERP Financial capabilities, including unified general ledger and financial management, procure-to-pay workflows, supply chain transactional master data, and planning modules consistent with an ERP Financial deployment. Configuration work focused on harmonizing chart of accounts and transactional workflows to support consolidated financial close and standardized procurement operations across the merged entity.
Rollout was scoped as an enterprise consolidation, requiring cross-functional governance to align finance, procurement and supply chain processes across the combined company. The program converted two distinct ERP estates into a single Oracle Cloud ERP tenancy, necessitating data migration and process harmonization to enable centralized financial reporting and operational control for Diebold Nixdorf.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation | Compensation Management | HCM | n/a | 2019 | 2020 |
In 2019 Diebold Nixdorf implemented Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation as part of a broader Oracle HCM Cloud deployment, targeting enterprise compensation lifecycle management. The rollout was scoped to support global human resources processes within a global HRIS environment that supports more than 60 countries, aligning the deployment with centralized Compensation Management governance and global pay cycles.
The implementation configured Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation to manage merit and bonus processes, with explicit configuration for Compensation bonus plans and merit programs. The broader Oracle HCM Cloud footprint included Core HR, Employee and Manager Self Service, security configuration, Design Studio, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence for reporting, and Talent Management capabilities such as Goals, Performance, Talent Profile, Talent Review, Talent Pools, and Succession Planning, ensuring the compensation module operated within end-to-end talent workflows.
Integrations were executed between Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation and existing enterprise systems, including Taleo for enterprise recruiting and onboarding orchestration, Oracle EBS and OBIEE for financial and reporting interoperability, and SAP HR for selected HR data exchange. The architecture emphasized a hybrid integration topology, connecting Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation to on-premise and cloud HR and finance applications to preserve recruiting, payroll, and talent data continuity across systems.
Governance and rollout were organized through the Global Human Resources Technology team working with Diebold Nixdorf resources and external vendors to enable and support new functionality across compensation, recruiting, onboarding, talent management, time and labor, absence management, and payroll domains. Change efforts included role-based security, standardized compensation cycle workflows, and OTBI-driven reporting to support centralized approvals and auditability within the Compensation Management domain.

| Salesforce | Legacy | Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) | Field Service Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2005 | 2005 |
In 2005, Diebold Nixdorf implemented Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) to support its Field Service Management operations. The implementation is described in the context of a Call Management Coordinator role based in Nashville, TN, and directly supported call intake, scheduling, dispatch and SLA oversight functions for field technicians.
Configuration focused on scheduling and dispatch capabilities, SLA tracking and monitoring, work order creation and technician roster management, and operational reporting to capture customer feedback and field issues. Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) was used to generate reports documenting customer feedback and to track field issues for escalation and dispute resolution workflows.
Operational coverage included monitoring over 200 technicians and supporting cross-functional service operations and customer service teams. The application was used alongside Facts and ClickSchedule systems as part of daily coordination and scheduling workflows for the Call Management Coordinator function.
Governance and process changes were operationalized through regular meetings with the business team and stakeholders, formalized dispute resolution procedures involving internal employees and external customers, and a training program that onboarded new Call Management Coordinators on Facts and ClickSchedule systems. These governance activities centralized SLA monitoring and standardized reporting and training practices for field service operations.
