AlonLearn was configured to centralize core LMS capabilities including course catalog management, enrollment workflows, competence tracking and learning plan orchestration, with automation of course delivery and enrollment processes to support high-volume training operations. The implementation emphasized course-administration functionality and competence development workflows consistent with LMS/course-administration usage described in the DFØ case. The solution was integrated with SharePoint and Unit4 ERP, along with other agency services, to enable content linkage and administrative synchronization between learning operations and enterprise systems. Architecturally the AO platform was deployed as a centralized service for the state administration, designed to interoperate with document repositories and HR/finance systems to coordinate enrollment triggers, participant records and administrative billing or chargeback functions. Governance and operational control were centralized through DFØ, which established common course administration processes and integration points for participating agencies, enabling standardized competence development across the Norwegian state administration. As described in the DFØ case, the implementation improved course delivery and enrollment at scale while aligning LMS/course-administration capabilities with broader HR and administrative workflows.
